GenkiJACS is one of the first Japanese schools in Japan to teach communicative Japanese for everyday life, rather than academic Japanese. Everything in our schools is organized around this central philosophy. That’s why lessons focus not just on what to say, but on why, how and when to say it. We have multiple programs and events to help our students make friends with Japanese people. Our class size is by far the smallest of any accredited Japanese school in Japan. We call this “the GenkiJACS difference”. It’s a big part of the reason why we were the first Japanese school to be voted Star World Language School, the highest award available to a language school,
and why students come back to study with us again and again. We believe in treating every student as a member of our family. We have helped students to arrange birthday parties, ship medicine or rent a studio for music practice. We adapt our lessons to the needs of each student, while keeping them practical and exciting, to give them not just the skills, but also the confidence to use these skills. Classes involve real-world situations, guest instructors, field trips and more. For all these reasons, we are regularly ranked highest amongst all Japanese schools.
